Holidays: Day Four

Today the weather wasn't so good, but after days of pure sunshine and cloudless blue skies, a little bit of rain was a welcome sight.  Our tanks needed a top-up and the veggie patch was looking a bit thirsty too. I hope the sun comes back tomorrow however (although the weather man sitting here on the lounge has just told me otherwise).
Awwww...cute.....(the only high heels I own)

This morning giggles could be heard coming from our walk-in-robe, so I went to investigate what the little munchkins were up too. Just as I stepped into my bedroom, they both emerged from the cupboard, each dressed in our clothes; Till dressed as me and Harry dressed as Ben. We had to go along with this role-reversal caper for half the morning.  Till, um I mean, Mum, even took charge of getting the washing off the line (standing on a chair). Harry, ooops, I mean Dad, took charge of feeding the chooks. The conversations these two had as "us" were hilarious (and scary....do I REALLY sound like that?). And how's this for good value - Little Mum made my bed and cleaned my room.  Actually, come to think of it, I should really take advantage of this role-play thing more often!

Later in the day Harry and Till played a few rounds of uno cards. Harry went off for a horse riding lesson, Ben cooked up a storm and I well.........I...um......had another little afternoon nap! That's what holidays are for right? I did help in the kitchen when I awoke from my beauty sleep.  We had friends over for a BBQ tonight and it was a very pleasant evening.  Good food and great company - what more could you ask for?

you and your nana naps! I forgot how you do that once school holidays hit. I love the role playing - and what a pay off, having the housework done. Encourage it for sure!

I wish Harry had done the cooking for me while I had a Nanna Nap too! :)
