A deluge of rain on Saturday night (67mls to be exact) turned our normally picturesque Emily Bay from an inviting turquoise blue colour, to a very unappealing shade of brown! The rain was so heavy in the early hours of Sunday morning that I was certain the raindrops themselves were going to pierce our tin roof! It's seems the ground here has well and truly reached saturation point! Enough rain thanks - bring on Spring!
