Heart of the home: the kitchen

 An urge to get out of the house led us to the Op Shop

Score...3 classic tales for the "Book Eating" boy
 followed by a visit to the Waste Management Centre to off-load our rubbish


and then on to the kids favourite shop...

Lego Heaven
Till has a birthday coming....tough decisions to be made
This came home with us...
Harry had pocket money to spend - *surprise* - he chose Lego
After lunch, time for craft....

Then the sun came out...

Are you telling me you can all play Risk together? Without disembowelling at least one member of the family? Wow. Impressed. Seriously.

At our house it's Harriet on Scotland Yard (and she just learnt about chess last week and loves that too), James on nerdy strategy games like Risk and me on word games (Boggle, Scrabble, etc.). Hey now you've got me thinking I should do a board game post!
