Introducing the newest girls in the chook pen (which by the way, means we now provide lodging for 17 hens!!!!). Ben asked me to take some photos of our sweet little egg-layers-to-be when they first arrived, at just a day old they were particularly endearing. I never got around to it, somehow I was too busy taking photos of um, well, you know - hoses and such. I finally got around to climbing into the pen the other day, though Ben was of the opinion they'd outgrown their cuteness! I don't know, they still are pretty sweet to me, and awfully photogenic!

They are pretty cute:) Our hens are getting a bit old now and not laying anymore so I think we'll be getting some new hens soon.
Our older hens aren't laying so much either...that's why we have the new crew :)
