weekly stills [the pinch punch edition]

[i] Introducing Bruce and Ella..the guardians of our back verandah.
[ii] We have had so many lovely, lovely visitors to our island home. These are some of the goodies that arrived with a VIP visitor...it was like Christmas unpacking it all. Carob covered ginger is MY WEAKNESS...that treat was scoffed in seconds!
[iii] Must there always be a pile of shoes at our back door? Grrrrrrrrrr
[iv] iPads - both a blessing and a curse (they do interact with each other whilst using them, so I'm thankful for that)
[v] Speaking of visitors...I love it when they leave nice messages! Drawing by Master H. Don't you just love his underground perspective.
[vi] Cheeky! It seems I'm aways taking their photo from behind.
[vii] Sometimes you just have to sit in a tree and have your picture taken...because your mother requests that you do.
[viii] I re-covered a lamp that I bought from a garage sale. I'm still in shock as to how unbelievably easy it was. Here's where I got my instructions from. Now I'm on the look-out for more lamps, I've got the lamp-covering bug.
[ix] I like this old petrol pump and I also really like Harry's viking shirt. I also like embarrassing my family by taking my camera EVERYWHERE!! hee hee

Is this really the first day of April??? Can somebody tell me where March went?
The year is flying by. I can't believe Easter is almost upon us.

Have a great week friends.

What a gorgeous lot of goodies you got from your visitors:) How else are you supposed to practice your photography without asking your family to do the odd pose here or there:) I wish I was a little braver taking my camera out with me more often. Lovely stills this week:)

Gorgeous fabric on your lamp - lovely job!! I covered a large drum shade and was also amazed at how easy (and rewarding) it is. Pile of shoes...just ordinary wonderful life, like dirty fingerprints on the windows ;)

Awesome photos, I love the old petrol pump and the photo of the kids on the ipad. I have a love hate relationship with the ipad too, it's good till the kids want to play it constantly or all at the same time! Aargh!
