I remember the fights I used to have while my brother, sister and I did the dishes. I wonder if that was why we got a dishwasher as soon as they hit the shops. It seemed like such an extravagance at the time. We used to dip the tea towel in the water before giving each other a very painful flick! x
Growing up we had a dishwasher and I hated unloading it! My Aunt and Uncle washed up the old fashioned way and I loved staying at there place just for that reason (and others I'm sure). Washing up seemed like fun to me - then. We have a dishwasher here but I still wash up plastic stuff - much to my husbands dismay!!!! And I still HATE unloading the dishwasher.
Oops...I used the wrong "there"!
