From me? Yeah yeah...stop smirking. Us a la natural, chemical-free, bi-carb using, vinegar-splashing, herbal-infusing chickie-babes have beauty tips too you know. Have you ever tried dry body brushing? About 18 months ago a beautician told me about the benefits of daily dry body brushing (that's a mouth full) and I've been doing it ever since. I won't harp on with all the advantages - they are too numerous to mention. But here's two really worthwhile reasons to consider taking it up...(i) gentle body brushing safely stimulates the lymphatic system and (ii) it promotes good circulation. You can read this or this if you want to know more. I read numerous online articles about the process and watched this video, plus a few others on YouTube. Once I could see how to do it properly, I was on my way. I try to remember to use my body brush everyday before I jump in the shower. I love how it wakes up my skin first thing in the morning!
Here's where I bought my brush. I had to shop online as I was unable to source one locally. I imagine on the mainland it would be much easier to track one down. There are many different designs - some have long handles, others are worn like a glove. Just make sure it's made of natural fibers. A synthetic brush isn't suitable. Give it a go - and be sure to tell me what you think!

Hi Michelle, I have been a fan of dry skin brushing for many years now. I can't remember where I first heard about it, but now as a mum it is one of the small ways that I take care of myself that makes a big difference to how I feel. Thanks too for your comment today at my blog and the link to Ben's rice paper rolls they do indeed sound delish! I'll have to make them. I did a cooking class recently and in the class we made rice paper rolls but instead of filling them with rice noodles we used brown rice. I was skeptical at first but they were really good. Love your new look on the blog too :)
Thanks for stopping by Nikki and thanks for your lovely comment.
