When did this happen? I'm sure she was in kindergarten just yesterday, sounding out three letter words and practicing sight words. All of a sudden this Year 2 girl can read, well...pretty much anything. There's no stopping Till now - she loves books just like her role-model and big brother (the incredible book-eating boy).
What a relief. The 'helping-your-kids-learn-to-read' caper can be a wee bit stressful, right? Lucky for me I don't have six kids!!!!!

Good work Till! This is so bizarre, but I was going to post something very similar about Austin. I bought him this book (The 13 Story Treehouse) last week which he finished in 2 days, then I bought him the next one which he also wouldn't put down. It's great to see, even though he's staying up way too late now, but I feel like I need to encourage the book love so I've been been lax with the bedtime. Funny thing is he still reads it out loud even though he's not reading to anyone, well Lily is in her bottom bunk and being sent to sleep by the sound of his voice - which is an added bonus. I can't believe the progress he made in 6 months.
